The Dance for Africa event last week was a great success! Thank you to everyone that came out to listen, dance and learn more about Ancient Ways, Tariro, and Friends of Kenya Schools and Wildlife. We also want to thank the other talented dancers and musicians that helped:

Shelley & Cal, based out of Eugene, are a married musical duo known for their uplifting rock/gospel-edges originals and classic rock/pop covers, they will also feature songs from their new Shelley & Cal CD plus their popular a’capella specialties.

Denbaya Drum and Dance, a non-profit organization based in Eugene, promotes intercultural understanding through performing arts and education. Offering affordable dance and drum classes in a variety of Afro-centric traditions, promoting local events, and maintaining a core performing company, Denbaya lives up to its West African name meaning ‘family that we serve.’

If you weren’t able to make the event this year, these videos will give you a glimpse. Click on the videos below to view a portion of Kudana’s performances. Until next time, we are busy recording our new album that will be released in 2011. Visit us again soon. ♥
